Camp Lester 2008.
About Camp Lester
Camp Lester is a five (5) week, academic enrichment summer day program. The camp is thematic-driven and will explore the world of science through reading and math literacy, writing (creative, persuasive, and narrative), and computer technology. Campers will also participate in swimming, piano, and art.
The camp is open to students in grades K through 5.
The focus of the summer program is to strengthen students’ academic skills in literacy, math, writing, and technology. The Camp Lester teaching staff is certified and will provide dynamic teaching strategies for successful student learning outcomes in the upcoming academic school year.
Session Dates
Camp Lester session dates are June 23rd through July 25th. Camp begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends daily at 5:00 p.m.
Field Excursions
Camp Lester will provide weekly field excursions to local museums, state parks, and other NC attractions.
Program Tuition
1 child = $500.00; 2 children = $750.00; 3 children= $875.00. Payments will be accepted in two installments:
Full payments are also accepted on or before June 20, 2008.
Initial Payment - $250.00 for one child; $375.00 for two children; $437.50 for three children by June 20, 2008.
Second Payment - $250 for one child; $375.00for two children; $437.50 for three children by July 11, 2008.
A $25.00 dollar administrative fee is required with the completed application to reserve your space.
